Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre – Celebrating the diverse people of Laos
The TAEC is a cultural learning centre located in the heart of Luang Prabang. Since 2007, it has inspired visitors to Laos by exploring, celebrating, and preserving the diverse ethnic cultures and peoples of the nation through professionally curated permanent and special exhibitions, events, and craft workshops. TAEC’s work includes local school outreach activities, research, fair trade shops, and a non-profit foundation in the USA.
Why are donations needed now?
The TAEC receives no regular funding and is almost completely dependent on the sale of entry tickets to its learning centre, and proceeds from the Museum Shop and TAEC Boutique. TAEC needs your support to continue its work while there are no visitors.
