STREETS - Good food helping good kids
STREETS recognizes the important role that tourism plays in developing economies. They provide impoverished youth with professional culinary and hospitality training in Hoi An, including English language and life skills. All trainees embark on careers in international hotels and restaurants meeting the resource demands of the hospitality sector in Vietnam and beyond.
Why are donations needed now?
STREETS is a social enterprise integrating business and philanthropy. As a result of the pandemic there is no international tourism nor revenue. STREETS Restaurant Café now has limited opening hours, largely for training. With no enterprise income, STREETS especially needs the help of donors to maintain their program.
