Elephant Conservation Center – Breeding, caring for and rewilding elephants
ECC is a pioneering conservation project for elephants in Laos run by a team of specialists. Open to the public since 2011, the center undertakes several conservation activities such as breeding, herding, veterinary care, research and rewilding. It also supports the ranger team of the Nam Pouy National Protected Area of Laos where the country’s second largest wild elephant population still survives.
Why are donations needed now?
The majority of ECC's funding comes from paid visits to their site and is spent on elephant welfare and conservation activities. The current situation puts their work at risk and they need your help to survive.
